Your Mission
Find one genuinely realistic free outing with friends by using official information, a clear backup plan, and a calendar everyone can follow.
What You'll Need
- Shared calendar or paper
- Reliable local library or park websites
- Pen
- Optional transit notes
How to Do the Quest
- 1
Open only reliable public sources such as a library, parks department, museum, or community-center calendar and choose a date range everyone can discuss.
- 2
Each friend finds one free event and records the date, time, official location, accessibility information, and whether registration is required.
- 3
Compare the three options for realistic travel, weather, age requirements, and personal comfort rather than choosing only the most exciting description.
- 4
Mark one first-choice outing and one backup on a shared calendar, leaving enough time for confirmation before anyone travels.
- 5
Decide who will verify the final details on the official source and who will send the group a simple reminder.
- 6
End by choosing a no-cost at-home backup plan in case the event changes, fills up, or weather makes travel impractical.
Quest Challenge
Can the group choose an outing based on verified details and access needs instead of a vague social-media post?
Pro Tip
Official calendars change, so confirm the details close to the date and treat third-party listings as leads, not final instructions.
Safety First
Verify event details through official sources, make personal transportation plans, respect age and accessibility requirements, and do not travel to an event until the group has confirmed it is appropriate and open.
